There are also a few other transportation companies in Nosara, though we don’t have direct partnerships with them. Shared shuttle services are available as well.

LOCAL TRANSPORT

In general, we recommend not having a vehicle during your stay at Salt Nosara. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and all essential amenities—including mini-market, restaurants, and more, are within easy walking distance. If you’d like to explore Playa Guiones or Playa Pelada further, electric bikes are a convenient option.

Please note: We do not offer on-site parking for cars, but there is plenty of street parking available directly in front of the property. Bikes can easily and safely fit in your private outdoor space.

SURF

If you’re looking for surf lessons, there are many excellent schools and instructors nearby. We highly recommend Nelson and Oscar. 
If you want to dedicate more time to it, Herbert is also another great option to learn more about being in the ocean while surfing, body surfing, and skateboarding as well.
Be sure to mention you’re friends with Alberto to any of them!
