The space

Salt is one of North Guiones’ original buildings, thoughtfully renovated for a private, relaxed stay in a jungle setting. The single-level apartment combines indoor comfort with Costa Rica’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle, including an alfresco outdoor shower and a private patio with outdoor seating and dining space.

Settle in with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, 200 Mbps fiber Wi‑Fi, Ethernet connection, and a dedicated workspace—well suited to remote work between surf sessions. The kitchen is equipped for meals at home, with a compact refrigerator and freezer, induction double stovetop, coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle, cookware, dishes, and dining table.

A state-of-the-art water-filtration system makes the tap water safe to drink, helping reduce plastic waste during your stay. The apartment also includes hot water, linens, essentials, clothing storage, and a Pack ’n Play/travel crib.

SEASONAL GUIDE
High Season (Dec-Apr): Dry, sunny, perfect conditions. Busier and premium pricing.
Green Season (May-Aug): Occasional rain (usually mornings or afternoons, rarely all day), lush jungle, quieter beaches, better value.
Rainy Season (Sep-Oct): More rain but still plenty of sunshine. Lowest crowds, best deals.

Smoke-Free Property - Salt is 100% smoke-free, both indoors and outdoors. Thank you for respecting this policy.
Sustainable Water - Our state-of-the-art filtration system makes tap water perfectly safe to drink. Help us reduce plastic waste by refilling your reusable bottles here.
Energy Conservation - Please turn off A/C when leaving the apartment - it cools down quickly when you return. Turn off exterior lights before bed.
Quiet Hours - Out of respect for neighbors, please observe quiet hours from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM. No events or parties allowed.
Community Respect - You're part of a residential neighborhood. Keep noise levels considerate and enjoy Nosara's peaceful atmosphere.

Guest access

You’ll have the entire apartment to yourself, including its private entrance and private outdoor patio. Self check-in is available via smart lock; gate and apartment-door codes will be given 24 hours before check-in.

Free street parking is available nearby.

We designed the check-in experience for maximum ease and privacy - all doors use smart codes, so you can arrive on your schedule without coordinating key handoffs.

Longer stays are welcome. The apartment has beach access nearby and provides a comfortable base for working remotely, preparing meals at home, and enjoying North Guiones’ beach lifestyle.

Nettes, kleines Apartment. Super Lage für Surfsessions, nur wenige Gehminuten zu Playa Guiones. Viele Restaurants in Gehweite und ein schöner, überdachter Aussenbereich mit Außendusche . Wir würden wieder kommen :)

I had a wonderful stay at Stacy and Alberto's place in Nosara! The location is super, just a short walk to one of the access points for Playa Guiones, as well as great shops and restaurants in the area! Perfect place for a few nights. Clean with everything you need. Amazing location 5 minute walk to the beach, but it is on the street and one night it was very loud with vehicles and people until 11 pm--but I was there during the peak of high season/spring break.

Salt 2 was an amazing location right in the heart of North Guiones and about a 4 minutes walk to the beach, and even less to the multitude of cafes, restaurants, and shops the area has to offer. Finding street parking within a few meters from the place was never an issue for us during our 5 days stay and in spite of visiting during the high season. We found Guiones overall very quiet overall, but definitely quiet from 10pm onwards. Some reviews mentioned construction noise in the area, there were none at all during our stay. What you get out this place is an incredible location in heart of North Guiones. I highly recommend this place.

We loved this place. You can't beat the location - a few mins walking to the beach, and right in the heart of Guiones. We didn't need a car. The place was nice, it was great having the cleaner come weekly (who did an incredible job), and Stacy and Alberto were amazing hosts. Grab this spot if you can!

I would give this a 10 star rating if I could!! Stacy & Alberto were extremely responsive, great hosts. This was the best experience I had on airbnb. The location was walkable, safe, and close to the beach, and super relaxing! I loved it!
