Salt is one of the original guiones beach buildings that we have completely renovated.
It has the PuraVida - Costa Rican vibe with a minimal modern clean feeling.
We appreciate privacy indoor and out and love the easy access to all things delicious and fun!
The apartment has a desk to work on, and our wifi is super fast (100Mbps).
Each apartment has a kitchen with electric double stove top, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, blender and all you need for cooking.
We invested in a state of the art filtration system, so the water is perfect to drink, and we avoid plastic pollution as much as possible.
Each apartment has private outdoor showers.
We have double interior double-side locked gates between all apartments so that friends and families can rent multiple apartments or rent the whole place !

High Season (Dec-Apr): Dry, sunny, perfect conditions. Busier and premium pricing.
Green Season (May-Aug): Occasional rain (usually mornings or afternoons, rarely all day), lush jungle, quieter beaches, better value.
Rainy Season (Sep-Oct): More rain but still plenty of sunshine. Lowest crowds, best deals.

Energy Conservation - Please turn off A/C when leaving the apartment - it cools down quickly when you return. Turn off exterior lights before bed.
Quiet Hours - Out of respect for neighbors, please observe quiet hours from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM. No events or parties allowed.

Each Salt apartment has its own private entrance with private outdoor space.
Each Gate and apartment door have codes which will given 24 hours before check-in.
We designed the check-in experience for maximum ease and privacy - all doors use smart codes, so you can arrive on your schedule without coordinating key handoffs.

They were super understanding when I couldn't read the check-in keypad and thought the code didn't work! The place itself is perfectly located--central to everything yet quiet, and felt safe for someone traveling alone. La casa es exactamente con lo que se muestra en las fotos, y el patio disponible es el apropiado para tomar sol, y tener un espacio abierto pero privado. March 2025Stacy and Alberto's listing was amazing! They were super responsive and accommodating to us with check in times and I cannot thank them enough. The place had a perfect set up and everything you need in the kitchen. The back patio area was amazing and a great place to relax and spend time outside. The location was so close to the beach and we walked over with our surf boards every day. The place is also very close to the market and restaurants so it felt extremely convenient. I would recommend the Salt rentals to anyone visiting Nosara!

The wifi was fast and we had plenty of space to work remotely. We did not cook much, but the kitchen was well-equipped. I only wish we could've stayed longer!

June 2024This place was at a great central location in town, was very clean, and the hosts were very responsive the entire time with questions we had or to replenish our amenities. We ran into a few random issues, and all were resolved promptly. Very happy with our stay here overall. The only negative I can think of is that when sleeping 3 people, if you want privacy from the person in the living room and want to shut the bedroom door, the living room overnight becomes very hot due to the only a/c unit being in the bedroom, so it's something to consider. I also think the couch bed would be best just for a child and not a 3rd adult. Other than that we had a great time and actually extended our stay by one night.

June 2024I stayed at Stacy and Alberto's place for 6 weeks. It is a really cute spot in the best location in Guiones town. You can walk everywhere and the beach entrance is a 3 minute walk away. The aesthetic of the space is beautiful and the bathroom is amazing. Lots of counter space and great mirrors, which I've discovered is hard to find in Costa Rica. Stacy, Alberto, and their property manager, David, were all very responsive and kind. The only downsides I would say are the kitchen space and the water. The kitchen is very small and you can't fit dishes in the dish rack. If you plan to cook more than just the basics- pasta, eggs, etc. this space isn't for you. I would also say that the water is not drinkable based off of how it tastes, so I did have to buy plastic water jugs for drinking water. But besides that the space is cozy, cute, and in a great location.

April 2024We loved the apartment and hope to come back! The home was very clean and comfortable, AC worked great, good lighting, and it had all the amenities we needed. It was right in the center of town, just 1 block from great restaurants and shops, and 1 block from the beach, yet the apartment is very private, peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!

December 2023I came to Nosara for a sabbatical and this charming apartment made my stay very special. Every time I returned from the day's adventures, I felt like I was truly "home." The apartment is filled with natural morning and afternoon light...and someone always remains cool, even without the air conditioner and fans! The patio is beautifully lush with palm trees and I was lucky to hear some monkeys and see a couple small iguanas. This place is nearby EVERYTHING - surf schools, the best tacos (Howler's and Blue Zone Brewery), the best coffee (Rolling Waves), a four-star hotel with amenities I used often (Gilded Iguana gym and spa). Moreover, it is a short walk to the beach, so I went there to watch spectacular sunsets almost every evening. I am truly grateful to have stayed here for my sabbatical and I am looking for the next opportunity to return.

November 2023Wir haben die Tage in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. In 5min spazierst du an den Strand, bist umgeben von zahlreichen Restaurant und Shops. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben auf den Fotos mit allem Nötigen (inkl ausgestattete Küche), was du brauchst. Die Kommunikation mit Stay und Alberto war sehr einfach und äusserst freundlich. Als kein Wasser in der Strasse war, haben sie uns sogar Wasser vorbeigebraucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

February 2023This is my second time staying at SALT and I have enjoyed it each time! It is conveniently located near the beach as well as all the restaurants. The hosts and David are very responsive and super helpful. The kitchen was well supplied to make my own meals if I didn’t want to go out. The outdoor space is spacious with beautiful green plants and had an outdoor shower which was perfect after surfing. I highly recommend staying at SALT apartments.
